Come on, that was your first thought too, right?  Isn’t she adorable?!? For my first session back since my long winter break, I had the privilege of photographing this sweet 5 month old.  Miss M was such a cutie, starting to discover her toes, teasing with the cutest smiles and drooling like there was no tomorrow!  And besides cute, she is also obviously well loved by not only her parents, but her grandparents as well!

To the S family, thanks for having me come and capture your cutie at this precious age!

Here’s the last installment of pictures of my own kids!

This is my baby, who will be 3 in April…where does the time go?  His personality is so cute right now, so curious, funny, independent and yet still so snuggly.  I love his big cheesy smile, and it pretty much gets him anything he wants. 

So, ever since I took my little girl out, her big brother has been asking (and asking, and asking) when I was going to take him out.  I’m not sure what he thought we did on our 20 minute excursion, but he wanted, *needed* to find out just how much fun it was to go out shooting with mama.

So today,  instead of the blah greys we are unfortunately coming to expect, blue skies were peeking through and I just had to get out there and shoot.   Unfortunately, the sun didn’t want to come out and play with us and the blue skies didn’t stick around, but I had fun outside playing with my little guy, who thinks he’s not my little guy anymore.  Sigh….when will he realize that he’s always going to be my little guy, even when he outgrows me?   Anyway, here’s a few pics from our fun filled excursion.

And, as he put it, “the funnest part of all…when mommy let me throw a snowball at her”….I should have had a little more confidence in his throwing arm, but we (my camera and I) were still safe!  hahaha

After the recent uproar (ok, it was 2 people) about my blogging (or lack thereof), I decided to go out shooting to make sure I haven’t lost it since my hibernation!   Let me tell you a few things that I figured out while doing so:

1.  It’s still REALLY cold outside.  Like, really cold.

2.  Kids do not last long in the cold, especially my sweet baby-girl who has a severe case of PCS (Photographers’ Child Syndrome).

3.  My new gloves that only have the pointer finger tip and thumb tip cut off are *awesome*.

4. I really, really, really, love what I do.  It warms my soul, even when it’s cold. (See #1)

Alright, so here’s my sweet girl…one of the many reasons I started doing what I do…Yes, she has lots of sass, and can shoot “the look” at any given time…I’d like to think she gets that from me, hahaha.
