So,  I was going to save this session and blog it as the last session of the year to keep this cuteness up over the winter, but who was I kidding…coming from the girl that can unwrap a present see what it is and re-wrap it back up without you ever knowing…I couldn’t wait!  (and yes, that’s a true story, and it’s a skill I acquired at a very young age….sorry mom and dad). 

When Heather Mickey and I talked about trading sessions this year, I knew that it would be cute and fabulous, well, because she just always is.  And, I was right.  Their family was so cute..the little interactions, the love you could feel.  I watched this video last night and found myself laughing to myself with a heart full of joy that I get to do what I do!

Oh goodness…what is it about these sessions that get me blabbering on and on?  Here’s the fabulous video by Aubmarie Productions, who I can’t say enough good about!

I can’t really express enough how much I love these sessions.  I love to shoot them, and my heart sings when I watch the videos.  I can’t say enough good things about my friend Aubrey who makes them so beautifully!  I know that I will be getting one of these for my family done every single year.  Heck, I’m trying to refrain from getting another one this year!  Lizz and her family have actually booked another session including all the cousins…what a great christmas present!

Another reminder that I am booking up quickly for the fall season.  I have 3 spots open in September remaining, then into October and November.  Email or call me today!

This cute mama and her babes came to Aubrey and I for one of our Home Movie Spectacular sessions!  I’m always so excited to do these sessions…there’s just something about those videos.  I know that I can’t stop watching mine!

I asked Ms. A if she would lie down in the grass for me…She did and struck a pose!  She had me laughing the whole session…from her puppet shows to her impromptu songs.  Such a smart gorgeous little girl!

And Mr. C was just the cutest thing….I have a soft spot for kids in glasses   When I asked to take him home, his mama said no.  They always say no. 

Again they brought their lovies with them.  If I remember correctly, meet Buster and Monkey.

Yes, it feels a little funny putting myself on the blog, but I really wanted to show everyone what the “Home Movie Spectacular” is all about!  The video was shot by Aubrey of AubMarie Productions, and the photographs were taken by Miss Heather Mickey.

For me, this is what life is all about.  Something I will treasure forever.  Watching it for the first time with tears swelling in my eyes, I simply felt blessed.  Blessed to have my family through thick and thin, blessed to have wonderful healthy children.  Just blessed.

I have been so excited to share this, something that has been in the works for a long time…I am now happy to introduce the Home Movie Spectacular!!  You’re all dressed up, ready to have a good time together..what better time to document your beautiful family?

I’ve paired up with videographer Aubrey from AubMarie Productions and we had been looking for a perfect example to introduce this new idea…then I thought of my friend Joy.  Joy is a fabulous photographer from Indiana that just happened to be visiting our area soon (www.joyalicephotography.com).  During one of our late night chats, I explained my “vision” to Joy, and she was all game!

When the day came at last, we set out, only to be completely dumped on by the rain!! (Seriously, when has it ever rained this much in Utah…in June!)  So, we sat in the cars, keeping the little ones content with fruit snacks.  When the rain finally cleared, we went out and it was perfect.  They walked, chatted, read books and played tea party.  Just beautiful moments shared between mama and her babes.   As I left that day, I thanked my lucky stars to be doing what I’m doing…This is what it’s all about.

To book one of these sessions, contact me as soon as possible!  I’m booked through June, with a few openings left in July.  I would love to document your family doing what you love to do, so email me with your ideas, and we’ll make it happen!  The fee for these types of sessions will be $350, which includes the session fee for the videographer and me and a $150 print credit…She will then give you a DVD of the video that she makes, included in the price.  If you end up wanting extra copies, they will be an additional $10.00 each.
