I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful little girl for an old friend.  Her squishy lips just make me smile.  Congratulations to the new mom and dad!

Before a shoot, I like to get to know the family a little bit, see what they’re interested in and see if there’s a way to incorporate that into their family shoot. The photographer in me squealed when Kristen mentioned that her husband played the acoustic guitar. I started having visions, and it turned out even better than I imagined. Oh, and I was paid a major compliment at the very end of the session: Their sweet little guy walked right up to me, motioning for me to pick him up. Now, it *may* have been because he thought I would fall for his adorable sign language “please take me to the train”, but we’ll never know for certain, will we? Either way, it made my night. This past week, I had the privilege of shooting a charity fashion show that was put on by Lone Peak High School for the Invisible Children charity.

It was a great show with these fabulous models, and most importantly, raised money and awareness for this very important organization.
