And for my 2nd announcement…I finally have a website!  I will still be using my blog as my main source of communication, but it will stand as my constant portfolio.  Go check it out and let me know what you think!

When my videographer friend, Aubrey started talking about doing an extended family shoot, I was excited.  I have known their family for years and it goes even father back than that…My husband grew up across the street from them, my brother is friends with them…They are such a kind and wonderful family!  Here are snaps of most of their beautiful grand kids…and we’ll be doing the big family shot soon!

On another note, I will be taking a vacation and will answer any inquiries or questions I receive over the weekend on Monday.   And be sure to check the blog on Monday, I have a big announcement!

In my process of picking the pictures for a blog post, I pretty quickly flip through the 25 or so whittled down images from the session and pick some of my favorites.  Sometimes, though, as I go back to finish up editing those sessions, I find some of my true favorites were apparently hidden from me…as is the case with these 2 pictures.

I love the joy in their faces, and at risk of sounding trite, I love the love. You can see it, and that makes my heart sing and thank the stars above that I get to do what I do.  Am I overly sentimental tonight? Probably. But sometimes, life pushes you to be grateful, and tonight…I am.

This is the last of my 3 cousins (well, I have more, actually, but these are the ones that booked sessions).  Kate is the sweetest thing and is Super Woman chasing around these 2 boys!

So, I usually like to try and pose families somewhat naturally…and climbing on mom seemed pretty darn natural in this case!

A little brotherly love…

Could he be more handsome?  I don’t think so…and since this is my blog, only my opinion counts.

And one of my favorite moments of the session…when they forgot that I was taking pictures, and just had a real cute moment reading one of their favorite books together.

And last but not least…my aunt, who I’m sure you’ll agree bears a striking resemblance to a little known model, Cindy Crawford, right? Right?!?  Wait, she doesn’t?  20 years of my life wasted telling people my aunt looks exactly like Cindy Crawford.  hahaha :)

Thanks again for the super fun session!  I will take you up on that offer of ice cream at some point! :)

I have been excited for this session since July, when the mama scheduled her family video session with me…It was pushed back to this past week, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day.  We headed up to the famous white barn towards Park City, as it is a favorite of the dad in this cute little family…and I was just taken aback by the beauty there!

When they walked up, pulling a wagon full of stuff, I knew we were going to have a good time…We laughed about Curious George, silly kids and parenting fun!  As we were leaving, I felt like I was saying goodbye to friends…and that’s just the way I like it.

A big thanks to the T family..here’s your sneak peek…your gallery and video will be coming soon!

Meet Miss E…Full of cuteness and energy, and can pull a funny face like no one’s business (although this is a sweet one):

And little brother Mr. L (who just happens to have one of the cutest boy names in the world)…It took him a minute to warm up to me, but by the end of the session, we got along grandly…as long as I didn’t ask him to move any of his collected goods!

And their super cute mom and dad….who broke into laughter when I told them to look at each other…which was the plan!

And a few more of my favorites from the session…If you’ve ever hung out with me for any extended amount of time, you’ve probably heard me talk about yummy light…well this is it.  Purely edible.
